The formula for affiliate marketing remains relatively constant no matter what your market or niche. Your main task will always be traffic generation (i.e. driving prospects to the merchant’s website via your unique “affiliate” link). If you don't have any money you can get started by finding ways to get free traffic to your website, including blogging, guest posting on other websites, and posting to social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, etc.
LinkConnector has struggled to stand out from the pack but nonetheless has managed to sign some exclusive deals with big name brands, including Writer’s Digest, the Disney Store, Ironman, Hats.com, and Everly. Their strictly controlled screening process for both merchants/advertisers and affiliates/publishers means that you can always rely on the quality of products on offer.
Hi, very informative site. Also thank you for your newsletter, I appreciate your advice. I have also recommended this site to some of my friends as they are desperate to learn to make a success online. It is difficult sometimes if there are too many resources and advice, they can be too complicated to learn. Your advice is the most comprehensive and you tell us what not to do. This is exactly what we need. Thank you.
A relative newcomer to the affiliate space, MaxBounty was founded in 2004 in Ottawa, Canada. MaxBounty claims to be the only affiliate network built specifically for affiliates. MaxBounty is exclusively a CPA (Cost Per Action/Acquisition) company that doesn’t deal with ad banners or the like, just customer links that the publisher (blogger) chooses where to place on their website.
Hi Jamie, awesome content that is very helpful esp with the resources, links and the rich discussions. Want to start e-commerce and blog for money…selling others products, want to go full on with this, tired of the daily routine crunch working for others. I live in a developing country (PNG) that has high internet costs (work still in progress with getting rates down…) so will see how I go with your posts. Any advise? Don’t have a website yet, have to build one I guess….

I am at ABSOLUTE ZERO on this affiliate marketing idea. I have no website (other than a facebook page), no domain name, no clients, and negative money.  I am in a situation of extreme financial hardship after a psychological breakdown and come very unfortunate events.  I  was wondering, though-- here's  my idea:  Because I  am at such an absolute zero of experience and getting started (I am even pretty much not just computer illiterate other than Word, email, basic internet, etc, but I would say I am computer challenged or have a bit of a learning disability with respect to computing skills), you could and should consider starting me up and taking me through everything with everything needed included along with the training so that you could use me as a true example of how much your system can do for someone.  You could look at me as a charity case, perhaps even write off what you give me for free as a business expense, and then use me as a complete rags-to-riches spokesperson, which I would gladly do for you.I have a lot of time but no starting skills to offer, which I think would make my success stand out from the many (and outdated and stagnant and presented-the-same-way success stories that so many of the affiliate marketing videos and websites I have looked at have.  A story like mine as an example of your success in training people would be like a breath of fresh air in what is starting to look like a stagnant and outdated and no longer worthwhile world within computing and marketing.  I have seen comments that say that affiliate marketing is "not what it used to be" and that it is harder for younger millenials to make as much money as the older millenials have.  I think such a trend should be reversed and the reversal of the trend should be what YOU have to offer, from your method of how to do affiliate marketing.I thank you for reading, and thank you please for considering.
